STATESBORO, Georgia- Tormenta FC will be hosting the 2016 Tormenta FC Nike Cup Tournament on Saturday, May 21, and Sunday, May 22 at Erk Russell Park.

This two-day tournament will host teams determined by age groups of U9-U10, U10-U12, and U12-U14 for boys and girls. For each of these divisions, each team is guaranteed to play 3 games. FIFA’s “Laws of the Game” will govern all tournament play for each game played. The games will consist of 6v6 teams for U9-U10, 8v8 teams for U10-U12, and 11v11 teams for U12-U14 divisions. With a fantastic turnout of 33 teams registered, the Nike cup will be a great experience for everyone. Statesboro, Georgia and the Tormenta FC Nike Cup will provide the very best field and facility services available for players, coaches, and fans anywhere in Georgia.

Following the tournament, Tormenta FC will have their first home game against the Carolina Dynamo at 7:30 pm on Saturday, May 21. Each and every player participating in the tournament will receive a free ticket to the game and a $5 gift card to The Clubhouse Statesboro to use in the arcade.
